Meet the team
Brittney Daniel is a Geographer by profession. She is a passionate advocate who has spent a majority of her career fighting to end homelessness. She is constantly inspired by the TEDxCrenshaw Team’s hard work and seeing the event come together every year and how well the speakers develop and are able to touch the crowd. We have become a big family.
Rashunda Rene, Founder of C.U.S.P. (Committed to Uplifting Single Parents), a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit in Los Angeles California, and Development Coordinator for South LA Saves. With a passion to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential, Rashunda started her consultancy firm in 2015 where she helps clients get clear on their goals and live with intention, power and purpose. When not busy, Rashunda enjoys traveling, listening to music, relaxing with family & friends and couponing!
Glenetta was born in LA and raised in East Oakland. She returned to LA after her educational studies at UC Berkeley and Harvard and has dedicated her career to the field of education as a teacher, founding charter principal and educational consultant. She is currently the LA Program Coordinator for Sandy Hook Promise, a blogger and dedicated mom of 4!
Samantha Broxton has done everything from originating and managing multi-million dollar commercial loans to data analytics, and even leading a failed internet start-up. She received her B.S. degree in Finance from University of South Florida and M.A. in Human Services from Liberty University. Samantha is currently an Enterprise Projects Manager for a global fortune 500 subsidiary in sunny Southern California. Passionate about social entrepreneurship, creativity and narrative; Samantha also moonlights as blogger, candid/street photographer, Black Girls Code volunteer, StartingBloc Entrepreneurial Fellow, and TEDxCrenshaw event committee Storyteller.
